Can I use AndroidTV to view Livestreams and VODs?

Unfortunately, we do not have a native AndroidTV app at this time.

You can mirror your screen to your AndroidTV. Depending on the TV you may need to open the 'Screen Mirroring' app or select 'Screen Mirroring' from your available Inputs.

On Windows 10:

-Click the Action Center button in the bottom right corner of your screen
-Select Connect - then choose your AndroidTV.

On Android:

-Use the pulldown menu and select 'Screen Cast'. You should see your AndroidTV listed, select it to start mirroring.

-Once you have mirrored your screen to your TV use the nugs.net Android app and access your streams in the My Library>My Events section of the app

On Mac or iOS:
There are several paid app options for Mac & iOS to mirror to Roku like Airbeam and APowerMirror.

To mirror from iOS or Mac to AndroidTV for free: Install the Airscreen app on your AndroidTV, start the server, then find your TV in your device's Airplay menu. Once you have mirrored your screen to your TV use the nugs.net iOS app and access your streams in the My Library>My Events section of the app.

To cast from Mac to AndroidTV for free using Chrome:  download the RokuCast Chrome extension from THIS LINK and follow the instructions to install it and connect it to your Roku. Then use Chrome and cast your screen or video from your Mac to Roku

Unfortunately, it is not possible to mirror iOS devices to AndroidTV with audio for free at this time.
